Introduction

– Welcome to our MMA class, where you can learn Mixed Martial Arts, we include wrestling takedowns, jiu jitsu submissions, Muay Thai and Karate stand-up skills, we also include fitness, cardio, strength and pad work, to keep you healthy and fit.

– If you are practising for the first time, please wear loose fitting athletic clothing, also bring boxing gloves if you have them.

– Our MMA classes run every Tuesday and Thursday at 730-830pm, just email us if you would like to attend a FREE trial class on farnhammartial@gmail.com.

– We run safe and friendly classes for adults, the classes are for mixed ability, with beginners welcome.

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS (MMA)

 

Our MMA classes are fun and friendly and we will ensure your enjoy every lesson. We teach the full arsenal of techniques, with clinch work from Muay Thai, as well as wrestling takedowns,  submissions from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and standup skills from primarily Muay Thai, but also including Karate , as well as boxing techniques for punches and footwork. MMA also helps develop strength and cardio fitness in addition to increasing your flexibility and mobility, you will learn key aspects of fighting like timing and distancing, which will increase your overall physical ability and improve your level of awareness and self defence capability. Our classes include a warm-up, body conditioning, basic footwork, kicks and punches, knees and elbows, takedowns, submissions and ground and pound,  partner work, bag work and all elements of this unique martial art.

Personal Training

If you want individualised personal 1-to-1 coaching in MMA, we can arrange this, there is no better way than to take a personal training session. If it is specialised technique training or a tailored fitness development program you are looking for, then our experienced coaches will be happy to help you. We can also help you achieve faster results or help you aim for a specific competition or sports event. Our personal training in MMA is £60-80 per hour.

If you wish to train in MMA or learn more about Farnham Martial Arts, please contact us on facebook or at farnhammartial@gmail.com, please note if you just turn-up for a class we may not be able to process your paperwork and insurance in time, so it is best to join beforehand at the times above. All classes will start promptly at the prescribed time.

The class consists of a warm up, technique training as well as sparring. You can also bring a water bottle and your training gear.
